Authoritative capture points
Clip capture reads the media element’s real currentTime when Set In or Set Out is triggered. The smooth Side Panel clock is display-only and is not used as the stored capture value.
A focused feature set for collecting useful recorded-video ranges and turning them into an organized editor handoff — without video downloading, cloud sync, analytics, or AI processing.

After an In point is set, the interface makes the next action obvious: finish with ] or the Finish Clip control.
Quick [/] keys work when the page or Side Panel owns focus. Chrome commands Alt+Z/Alt+X provide a fallback when Chrome UI owns focus, subject to user remapping and OS conflicts.
The panel receives authoritative media samples and renders a smooth local clock between samples, resynchronizing around playback, seek, rate, focus, and navigation changes.
A single project can contain clips from multiple supported sites and source videos. Source metadata stays attached to each clip for a more useful handoff.
New captures appear at the top of Collected clips by default. Move Up / Move Down lets you set the final Source Pack order afterward.
Classify clips as Quote, B-roll, Evidence, Hook, Reaction, or Reference, then add an optional editor-context note.
Build a readable Source Pack preview, copy it as text, or export Markdown and CSV for downstream workflows.
Export a JSON backup of your local workspace and restore it later. Backups are validated before being accepted into the local data model.
